bring the wild indoors!
Lucy believes that we can deepen our connection with nature simply by bringing nature inspired art into our homes. Art that focuses on wildlife and the natural world can add colour, movement, action, pattern, motion and beauty into our lives and act as thought-provoking décor that initiates conversation.
a conservationist at heart
Lucy grew up with a strong affinity for nature and originally studied a degree in Wildlife Conservation. Since becoming an artist as a result of the global pandemic, she now wishes to make a steady commitment to conservation through her drawings. She aims to raise awareness and focuses on her interest in animal behaviour and physiology when considering her compositions.
She regularly participates in art fundraisers and auctions, raising money for conservation projects across the globe. Lucy hopes to continue raising funds for various wildlife projects and aims to inspire a new generation of wildlife conservationists who recognise how important art can be for conservation.
Inspired by two of the most iconic Davids the planet has known:
David Shepherd - the worlds finest wildlife artist
Sir David Attenborough - conservation advocate, biologist and natural historian
passion for pets
Lucy has always had a strong love for animals and cares greatly about their welfare. She grew up with pets of her own and within her extended family, therefore she knows first hand how much impact they have on our lives. Producing portraits of other people’s beloved companions is a highly rewarding part of her job.
However, as she shifts her focus towards producing more wildlife related pieces, her pet portrait spaces are limited. Please contact her in good time if you wish to have a piece produced.
